Scope of Works:

• Fabricate 4 Safety Barrier Panels for TfNSW

Challenges 

• Thorough Quality Control systems of materials & dimensional checks to meet TfNSW standards 
• Two frames to be built with out-of-square alignment with precise measurements.
• The large scale of barrier panels required are difficult to fabricate due to rolling offset and alignment 
• Engage contractor to have material rolled to suit the panel dimension 

Outcome

• Future Group constructed dimensionally checked jig frame to build all 4 barriers 
• Final fabricated barriers checked using laser alignment for accurate checking
• All structural welds inspected by third  party contractors for Quality Assurance 
• Quality Control Systems implemented by Future Group met all TfNSW requirements 
• All 4 frames completed and accepted by TfNSW with no rework/modifications needed
